🏈 Get ready for a game-changer, NFL fans! This season, they're trying out a brand new kickoff rule! 🎉

Picture this: kickoffs will now start at the 35-yard line, with 10 kick coverage players eagerly waiting at the opposing 40, ready to split into two fierce teams of 5. 💥

Meanwhile, the return team will have 9 blockers in the 'set up zone' (between the 30- and 35-yard line), with at least 7 of them right at the 35. Plus, we'll have up to 2 returners allowed inside the 20! 🏃‍♂️

Only the kicker and two returners can make their move until the ball hits the ground or is touched by a returner inside the 20. 🚀

And guess what? If a kick reaches the end zone in the air, the receiving team can choose to return it OR go for a touchback and possession at the 30! 🤩 If it goes out of bounds or out of the end zone, it's still a touchback at the 30! 🎯

Let's see how this trial run goes and stay tuned for a possible renewal in 2025! 📅 What do you think of this exciting new rule? 🤔
