The Netherlands and France have just played out the first 0-0 draw of the tournament, and it was a seriously dull, laboured affair. The French had a few chances that they should have scored from, with Adrien Rabiot and Antoine Griezmann missing massive opportunities. But you could see that they missed their main man in attack, Kylian Mbappe, who didn't come off the bench after breaking his nose.
The Dutch did defend well though, and could even have won the game themselves, with Xavi Simons having an effort ruled out for offside which will lead to much debate. But overall, it's not a bad point for either team, despite the lack of quality in this game.
