- The New York Rangers acquired J.T. Miller from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Filip Chytil and a protected 1st-round pick

- Mackenzie Blackwood collected his first shutout with the Colorado Avalanche, as they defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-0 on home ice

- Jiri Kulich netted his second of the game in the final minutes of regulation to give the Buffalo Sabres a 4-3 win over the Nashville Predators
